Our Story
How it all began…
Lou and Nicole (Father and daughter) along with Nicole’s two children Michael and Kelsey were on a mission trip in Bangladesh, August of 2011. They were there doing God’s work for two weeks reaching out to people in need in this very poor country. Unfortunately, the story did not end the way they expected it to.
The car Lou was in got into a horrific car accident leaving many injured with Lou getting the worst of it. Lou had lots of injuries but the worst one was his broken neck. This accident was very traumatic for the family, but Lou never gave up loving the Lord! He was the strongest one out of us all dealing with his life being changed forever. Lou has been paralyzed since that night and is still a pillar of strength in spite of his daily challenges! He is a true man of God and a hero to his entire family!
Ten years later, Nicole and Lou were praying separately and God spoke to them telling them it is time to continue the mission they were on. They felt called to reach out and fill the gap with people in need right in their own backyards. They not only bring them food for their bodies, but they bring the joy of the Lord and minister to those who want to be fed spiritually as well. They feed all people no matter what their beliefs, but they are the hands and feet of Jesus and are always ready to share the gospel and pray with those who ask them to.
They love God and they love people and are trying to reach all who are put in their paths. Jesus told us to feed his children. They are just simply doing what the Lord asks us to do. God can use us all no matter what our circumstances are. It is never too late to make a difference! It says in Genesis 50:20; “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. ” God emphasizes, “what you do for the least of my brethren, you do for me”, we are simply carrying out Christ request.
